Personal Assistant

About the Position: Our client has autism, which means he needs assistance in various everyday situations where his disability creates certain limitations. You will serve as his extended arms and legs, helping him in situations he might otherwise manage on his own. His interests include watching films, visiting cafés, spending time with friends, and walking his dogs regardless of the weather. Work tasks vary and encompass both high and low activities, just like in everyday life. We are seeking someone who can work with our client at his workplace (day activity program). To help you develop and grow as an assistant, you will receive regular supervision and coaching from our personal team leaders and from the psychologist we work closely with in our application of applied behavior analysis. We are seeking someone who: Has experience in personal assistance or leadership Is reliable, responsive, and takes responsibility Has strong communication skills/cognitive communication Who Are You? We are looking for a thoughtful and kind person, much like our client himself. You should have strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as communication is an important part of your collaboration. Your help with spelling when he writes his stories will be a central part of your role. It is also important that you work in a way that strengthens the client's sense of participation. By listening to his wishes, encouraging his own initiatives, and letting him influence decisions in his daily life, you contribute to creating a meaningful and inclusive existence. Previous experience in care work is a plus, but personal suitability is what matters most. A driver's license is desirable, but not required. Working Hours: All weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
