About the Position In your role as a personal assistant, you will mainly help the customer with everything that comes up in their daily life. Personal assistance is a service under LSS (The Act Concerning Support and Services for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly. The customer's individual needs guide your workday, and the work can include, for example, assistance with transfers, personal care, training and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the customer. We are now seeking someone who meets the following criteria: will work with a 68-year-old man who lives in Kalix has good knowledge of Swedish It is also advantageous if you: have experience in the profession of personal assistant or equivalent work have experience working with transfers and assistive devices share the customer's interest in cooking speak Finnish Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary: We are seeking a personal assistant who can work a summer temporary position for weeks 27-31. The employment level is on average 60% during these weeks, and working hours are scheduled for 7:00-15:00 and 15:00-21:00. Work shifts will be scheduled on both weekdays and weekends. The customer also has assistance at night; no such shifts are scheduled for this temporary position but may occur for extra work beyond the regular schedule. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start Date There may be an opportunity to start earlier and work as an hourly temporary employee before the summer temporary position begins. Please indicate in your application if this is of interest to you and when you would be available to start. Otherwise, the summer temporary position start date will be by agreement. Working at Humana A requirement for starting employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present a valid ID document and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old. Under applicable legislation, we as an employer are required to request a registry extract from all employees who will work as a personal assistant for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record and suspicion register before a potential employment.
