We are looking for a dedicated HR Manager for our production unit in Bäckhammar – an important role where you will be responsible for leading and developing personnel at our paper mill and contributing to a safe, efficient, and improvement-oriented work environment. About the Role As an HR Manager, you will have daily management responsibility for the production staff and work closely with both the line manager and other departments. You have a clearly delegated workplace environment responsibility and ensure that our policies and working methods are followed in daily operations. The role involves close leadership where you coach employees, conduct development conversations, and ensure that competency requirements are met. You will be responsible for recruitment work, compile training plans together with the line manager, and initiate improvement initiatives within both working methods and production processes. Examples of Work Tasks: Lead and develop employees and ensure correct competence, onboarding, and safety awareness within your work area Ensure daily staffing, efficient resource utilization, and coordination within shift teams Recruit personnel and summer interns, conduct employee conversations, and handle personnel matters Follow up on operational targets and contribute to the department's results, action plans, and budget Lead and develop systematic workplace environment work (SAM) together with relevant departments, including safety and fire safety rounds and collaboration with safety representatives and employees Follow up on deviations, initiate risk analyses, and take corrective measures Document and update instructions and procedures Actively work with process development, participate in improvement initiatives, and contribute to order and organization within your area of responsibility Are You the One We're Looking For?
