aMHigo operates protected housing for women, men, and children who have experienced violence. We accept those with ViNR and honor-related concerns. We have both shared housing for women and children as well as individual protected apartments for women, men, and children. Those in our programs may also have, in addition to experiencing violence, various forms of mental health conditions. With new legislation regarding protected housing in place, we are now seeking a person to be responsible for the adults in the housing. Your Role: As staff at our protected housing, you are responsible for ensuring that the needs of residents are met in accordance with legal requirements. You will work to promote independence for those in our programs. You will work with both adults and children. Your tasks will be varied and include: Developing and implementing care plans and following up on them Practical tasks such as assisting with moves, cleaning, shopping, laundry, etc. Supporting residents in contact with authorities, healthcare, police, schools, employment services, and others Assisting residents in applying for confidentiality marking and protected addresses Pickup of new residents Participating in security planning Participating in cooperation with partner organizations Documenting in accordance with the Social Services Act Qualifications: Working at protected housing requires attentiveness and a flexible approach. Tasks are varied and acute situations can arise. We are looking for you who: Have at least two years of post-secondary education in social pedagogy, behavioral science, or equivalent. Hold a Class B driver's license Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. We prefer that you: Have at least two years of work experience in social work, preferably experience working with people who have experienced violence and working with children Enjoy working independently and collaborating in a group It is a plus if you have previous experience providing support and have experience talking with people in vulnerable life situations. We will request extracts from the suspicion and liability register. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and selection will be ongoing; the position may be filled before the application deadline. Working Hours: Working hours are primarily during daytime. If acute situations or new placement requests arise, evening and weekend work may also occur.
