About the Position As a residential support worker with us, you conduct psychosocial work with young people who need significant support in their daily lives. Through your commitment, you create important and secure relationships. We work in a structured manner, based on a salutogenic approach, where the focus is always on the young person's own resources and what works. Your main responsibilities: Support young people in training apartments throughout Uppsala in developing a functioning daily routine. Serve as a primary contact person for some of the young people. Develop implementation plans according to BBIC. Document interventions through case notes and prepare monthly reports. The workday is planned largely together with your colleagues. Since the work is very dependent on the young people's motivation and mood, you need to be well-organized but also able to quickly adjust your plans when needed. Who Are You? We're looking for someone who is self-driven and has a strong sense of responsibility. You're welcome to be newly educated with a genuine interest in learning more about our target group and our methods. Since documentation is a major part of the role, you should be skilled at expressing yourself clearly in writing. Formal Requirements (applications not meeting the education requirement will not be considered): Educated social pedagogue or at least a two-year post-secondary education focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant field. Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written (working language and documentation). B-class driver's license. Certificate from the Police (must be of good conduct; verification required before employment). You must live in Uppsala and have a life situation that allows for scheduled on-call duty from home. Meritorious: Training in CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), CRA, or other evidence-based methods. Experience working with young people with psychosocial issues. Personal suitability, strong commitment, and a solid value foundation. We also have parking in Centralgaraget and directly outside the office. Professional support: We offer external supervision every four weeks to support the work team in daily operations, where staff have significant opportunity to influence the content. Community: Every Monday morning, we set aside time for a team meeting to follow up on operations. Flexibility & Health: Regular working hours are scheduled during daytime (8 hours/day), where you have the opportunity to control when you start and finish.
