Rāmuļu Primary School invites you to join our team on September 1, 2026 PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS For Grade 1 (12 contact hours per week, approximately 0.5 pedagogical workload with the possibility to increase it by agreeing to additional responsibilities) Main duties: Organize and implement the learning process in Grade 1 in accordance with the state basic education standard; Perform Grade 1 class teacher duties, promoting a safe and positive learning environment for students; Teach Latvian language (6 contact hours per week), mathematics (4 contact hours per week) and music (2 contact hours per week); Plan and implement the learning process, following a competency-based approach in the curriculum; Assess student learning achievements and provide regular feedback; Collaborate with parents, colleagues and support staff; Perform other duties in accordance with the job description. Requirements for applicants: Education in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 569 "Regulations on the Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Pedagogues and the Procedure for Professional Development of Pedagogues' Professional Competence"; Appropriate qualification for primary education work; Good collaboration and communication skills; Responsible attitude towards work and ability to organize the learning process; Positive attitude towards children and desire to create a supportive and motivating learning environment; Desire to develop professionally and promote modern learning processes.
