About the Role and Responsibilities We're seeking a pedagogical coordinator for one of our units within Daily Activities in Lund, where you will drive the pedagogical work forward in close collaboration with the unit manager and other staff members. We're looking for someone driven to inspire and motivate our users and staff in direct user-focused work. You recognize the abilities our users possess so you can develop the right support and assistance, and give our users the opportunity for participation and self-determination. To succeed in this role, you have strong leadership skills, are curious and listen carefully to both staff and users in daily work. You think ahead and have a long-term perspective, while remaining flexible in working with different work groups. The role includes, on behalf of the unit manager: Responsibility for developing pedagogy and methodology Ensuring and supervising the unit's work with communication support Documentation and follow-up Supervision and follow-up in work with social documentation and implementation plans Training staff in direct user-focused work and at user meetings and APT. Working hours are Monday–Friday, daytime. About Us At the unit, we work in a user-focused manner and support individuals in activities adapted to each person's specific needs. We offer our participants both sensory-stimulating and work-like activities, including a business-oriented operation. The unit also has a group for people with congenital deafblindness and a group for deaf individuals, where all communication is conducted in sign language. We work to ensure our users have the opportunity to be as independent as possible and live the life they wish. Experience working within LSS and experience working with autism and intellectual disability. Good knowledge and experience with clarifying pedagogy/TEACCH. Good knowledge and experience with low-arousal approaches. Ability to communicate well in both spoken and written Swedish. Good knowledge of current documentation tools.
