Children and young people living in short-term or residential facilities according to LSS face challenges related to autism, ADHD, OCD, and other complicating conditions. These young people often suffer from mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression, which can lead to serious behavioral problems. We recognize that many of their behavioral problems originate from mental health issues, and we strive to improve support through enhanced pedagogical coordination, supervision, and skills development. Responsibilities include: On-site supervision and support to staff to meet the needs of young people with mental health issues. Develop and implement training programs to increase staff's ability to meet and support young people with risk behaviors. Collaborate with external parties to ensure comprehensive support for our young people. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a university degree of at least 180 credits in social/educational or behavioral science. You should have at least two years of experience working with the target group during the past 5 years and a total of 10 years of experience working in the LSS sector. We also see it as necessary for the role that you have a broad understanding of psychology, sociology, and psychiatric care, as well as knowledge in recovery, MI, documentation, AAC, and first aid in mental health. To succeed in the role, you need to be comfortable coordinating, motivating, and providing colleagues with the knowledge required to achieve common goals in the organization. You will be a point of reference for others, which requires you to create engagement, participation, and cooperation with external actors and authorities. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing is a requirement. About the Workplace Welcome to our children's unit in the authority department, social psychiatry and children.
