About Pedagogical Student Support Pedagogical Student Support works with decisions regarding support for students with disabilities. The assignment primarily involves work close to students, but also frequently includes contact with colleagues within the university. Our focus is on the student and helping find pathways to a good study situation. We are now seeking two colleagues to join our competent team supporting our students in Lund, Helsingborg, Malmö, and Ljungbyhed. Tasks and Areas of Responsibility Responsible for decisions and recommendations regarding targeted pedagogical support for students at Lund University. Process and coordinate targeted pedagogical support for Swedish and international students with disabilities. Collaborate with education-related colleagues. Participate in and drive development regarding targeted pedagogical support at the institution. As an employee with us, you have three roles: employee, colleague, and service provider. Qualifications We are seeking you who: Have a university degree with a pedagogical or behavioral science focus, or are a qualified occupational therapist or speech-language pathologist. Have current experience working with people based on knowledge of disabilities and mental health issues. Have experience conducting assessment interviews. Can collaborate and find it easy to build relationships while also having strong ability to work independently. Have good experience with administrative tasks. Have good experience working professionally with digital tools, as daily documentation is part of the job duties. Have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as we meet both English- and Swedish-speaking students and colleagues. We place great importance on personal qualities and seek someone who is proactive and finds it easy to build new relationships and collaborate with others, both colleagues and students. With strong communication skills, you contribute to and develop good workplace relationships. You take great personal responsibility in your professional role and work with colleagues and management to find opportunities when handling challenges and problems. You are also persistent and, with the assignment in focus, contribute to structured and systematic quality work. To succeed with the assignment, it is important that you are proactive and attentive. Meritorious Experience in the role of decision-maker at a state authority. Experience with record-keeping or documentation of case processing. Other Information Since two of our employees are on parental leave, we are seeking two substitute employees. One substitute position covers the period December 1, 2026 or by agreement until November 1, 2027 at 100% capacity. The other substitute position covers the period December 1, 2026 or by agreement until June 30, 2027 at 100% capacity. The university applies individual salary setting. The Student and Education Section provides service and administrative support within the educational field and works toward a good work environment for students. The Section provides support to students regarding study-related health and well-being, study skills assistance, academic writing, targeted pedagogical support for students with disabilities, and Supplemental Instruction (SI). The Section's area of responsibility also includes admissions, degree awarding, and study documentation with its support systems. Additionally, the Section works on evaluating and developing methods for quality assurance of the university's educational programs. The Section is the system owner for several study administration support systems, including Lubas and Sunet Survey. The Section also has local system responsibility for Ladok and the admissions system NyA. The Section consists of approximately 100 employees, organized in the departments of Admissions, Degrees, Student Health, Student Support and Learning, Study Administration Systems, and Educational Strategic Support.
