Educational Support Staff at Värgårdsskolan 7–9 Värgårdsskolan is Kinda Municipality's only upper secondary school and is located in Kisa. Here students from across the municipality meet at a well-sized school where safety, good relationships, and an accessible learning environment create conditions for learning and development. We work to ensure our students experience a school characterized by clarity, structure, safety, curiosity, and confidence in the future. Our goal is for all students to have the opportunity to succeed based on their individual abilities and to leave school with good knowledge and confidence in their own capabilities. About the Position We are now seeking an educational support person who wants to help create good conditions for our students to succeed in school. As an educational support person, you will have a varied and important role. You work with individual students, small groups, and students in classes. Your work is based on students' needs and may therefore look different from day to day. You work closely with teachers to create a safe, structured, and accessible school day. This may include: providing targeted support to students in their schoolwork being present in instruction and contributing to study focus and participation working with individual students supporting students in developing strategies for their schoolwork and school day contributing to the school's safety initiatives meeting and supporting students in various situations during the school day contributing to a positive and safe environment for all students at school. About You We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in young people and who wants to be a safe and clear adult in students' daily lives. You find it easy to build good relationships and meet students with respect, patience, and a solution-focused approach. You are flexible and can adapt your working style to different students' needs and situations. At the same time, you are organized and can take responsibility for your tasks independently. You see what needs to be done and take initiative while valuing collaboration and working closely with teachers. Experience working in primary school or with young people is a plus.
