Requirements:
• Compliance with the requirements of Article 21, Part 1 of the Law "On Police";
• Higher education (starting with first-level professional higher education);
• Excellent Latvian language proficiency (C1 level);
• Category B driver's license (with at least 3 years of experience);
• Small recreational vessel operation license;
• Knowledge of legal regulations and procedure development;
• Knowledge and practical skills in police tactics, use of special equipment, firearms handling, and hand-to-hand combat;
• Good physical fitness, stress resilience, and health status appropriate for the position;
• High sense of responsibility, good communication skills, correctness, discipline, honesty, and ability to resolve conflict situations; ability to work in a team and make independent decisions;
• Good computer skills;
• At least 3 years of experience working in law enforcement institutions, the State Fire and Rescue Service, or the Emergency Medical Services.
Main Job Duties:
• Plan, manage, organize, control, and be responsible for the work of shift personnel;
• Ensure timely and quality completion of established goals and tasks;
• Supervise public order and safety in Jūrmala city municipality's administrative territory;
• Prevention of legal violations;
• Conduct administrative violation procedures within the scope of competence.
