Sigulda Municipality Municipal Police, Registration No. 40900034748 Position: Deputy Chief Duties • Organize Municipal Police work in accordance with designated competencies and ensure fulfillment of functions and duties as specified in regulatory documents; • Plan and organize preventive measures to maintain public order and compliance with binding regulations in the municipality's administrative territory; • Lead and motivate the Municipal Police team, ensuring effective work planning; • Review administrative violation cases and prepare draft decisions; • Review submissions and complaints from individuals and legal entities, preparing draft responses; • Ensure quality oversight and legal compliance of prepared documents; • Ensure legality of Municipal Police operations; • Oversee material and technical support and provide suggestions for improvements. Requirements • Compliance with requirements of Section 21 of the Law on Police; • Higher education in law; • At least three years of practical experience in a leadership position at a law enforcement agency or structural unit, acquired within the past five years; • State language proficiency according to the requirements of the State Language Law; • Unblemished reputation; • Knowledge of regulatory acts governing Municipal Police work; • Experience in drafting regulatory acts and document preparation; • Ability to set goals and achieve results; • Ability to motivate team toward goal achievement; • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills; • High sense of responsibility and ability to make competent decisions; • Ability to resolve problem situations; • Very good skills in information technology work, including MS Office programs and databases used in Municipal Police operations; • Category B driver's license.
