Salaspils Municipality Municipal Institution "Salaspils Municipality Police" invites applications for MUNICIPAL POLICE JUNIOR INSPECTOR - RESCUER (permanent position, profession code 3355 32) Main Duties of Position General Duties: Ensuring public order and community safety in Salaspils Municipality territory. Monitoring compliance with municipal binding regulations and other normative acts. Prevention, detection, and elimination of administrative violations. Preparation of administrative violation procedure materials in accordance with the requirements of the Administrative Liability Law. Summer Season Duties: Continuous supervision and safety assurance of Salaspils City public beach. Performing rescue operations and providing emergency first aid in water-related emergencies. Supervision and control of watercraft on the Daugava River at Salaspils City public beach. Public education and awareness about safe behavior around water. Requirements for Candidates: Compliance with requirements of Section 21, Part 1 of the Law "On Police." Knowledge and ability to apply normative acts governing the rights and duties of municipal police officers. Category B vehicle driver's license with minimum 3 years of driving experience. Small vessel operator's license. Ability to work with office equipment and Microsoft Office applications, web browsers. Skills in document preparation and formatting in accordance with normative act requirements. Ability to work in teams, in high-pressure situations, and to solve non-standard problems. Good communication skills and ability to cooperate with residents. Excellent physical fitness and health condition appropriate for the work performed. Required education - beach rescuer certificate issued by the Latvian Beach Rescuers Association, or qualification as a firefighter rescuer or fire safety and civil protection technician from the State Fire and Rescue Service. Good swimming skills, rescue techniques, and ability to provide emergency first aid. We Offer: Monthly salary (gross) starting from EUR 1500 with the possibility to increase compensation according to employee competence and work performance after the probation period.
