Kuldīga Municipality, Reg. No. 90000035590, announces a competition for a vacant Municipality Police Inspector position (2 positions) for an indefinite period (state official position). We are looking for a team member – a person with a high sense of responsibility who genuinely cares about the security and order of our municipality. We offer: - Interesting and dynamic work (work is organized in shifts) - A safe, aesthetic, and well-maintained work environment - Salary: hourly rate of 6,62EUR before tax payment (after probation period evaluation, hourly rate of 7,08EUR) - Professional competence development opportunities - Health insurance after six months of work - Social guarantees Main job responsibilities: - Ensure public order and personal safety - Monitor compliance with and implementation of requirements established in the Administrative Liability Law and relevant sectoral laws, Municipal binding regulations, decisions, and orders - In cases of administrative violations, conduct violation prevention, identify liable persons, collect and document evidence, provide accurate violation classification and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements - Monitor compliance with vehicle parking and standing regulations Requirements for applicants: - At least secondary education obtained - Compliance with requirements of the "On Police" Law (person has not been convicted of an intentional criminal offense; not on record with a psychiatrist or narcologist) - Desired knowledge of foreign languages (English, German, or Russian) - Latvian language knowledge level and degree C1 - Computer skills at the level necessary for job duties - Category B driving license (driving experience of at least 3 years) - Good physical fitness - Previous work experience related to law enforcement institutions will be considered an advantage Competition applicants must submit: - CV - Motivation letter - Copies of education documents - Copy of Category B driving license Application deadline: September 7, 2026 Please submit documents to Kuldīga Municipality's Visitor Reception and Information Center (Baznīcas Street 1, Kuldīga) or send documents signed with a secure electronic signature to email: [email protected].
