Olaines Municipality is announcing applications for the position of Municipal Police Inspector (prof. code 3355 14) for an indefinite period Main responsibilities will include: conduct activities in the field of child rights protection, public order maintenance, and prevention and detection of offenses; monitor compliance with Olaines Municipality binding regulations and legal acts in force in the Republic of Latvia; participate in ensuring public order at public events and raids in cooperation with the State Police; conduct general and individual preventive work and preventive measures with minors, their parents or guardians to prevent further offenses by minors; organize lectures, discussions and preventive activities in Olaines Municipality educational institutions (preschool educational institutions, schools, etc.); review submissions, complaints, and suggestions related to minors; cooperate with state and municipal institutions, educational institutions, social services, and child rights protection bodies. Requirements: secondary or higher education; previous work experience in Municipal Police, Ministry of Internal Affairs institutions, or State Prison Administration institutions; knowledge, understanding, and ability to apply in practice the tasks and functions of Municipal Police, as well as legal acts regulating the work of Municipal Police officials; good cooperation and communication skills, ability to work in a team; ability to make operational decisions and act in non-standard situations; state language proficiency; Category B driver's license; desirable certificate for completing a program in the field of child rights protection; excellent skills in working with information and communication technologies, good skills in working with a computer (MS Office, APAS, Lietvaris) and office equipment. We offer: full-time work for an indefinite period; standard working hours from Monday to Friday; stable salary (1133 EUR before tax); social guarantees; opportunity to develop professional experience; health and life insurance, accident insurance (after the probation period); vacation allowance of 50% of monthly salary once per year; maintenance compensation of 250 EUR; additional vacation days according to evaluation (up to 10 working days).
