Talsu Municipality (Reg. No. 90009113532) Valdemārpils Association Administration announces a competition for a vacant position of Head of Laidzes Free Time Leisure Center (profession code 1213 23) Responsibilities: organize, plan, and manage various genres and types of cultural and sports events in Laidzes Parish in accordance with Talsu Municipality Council decisions, Talsu Municipality and Administration orders, as well as legal requirements regulating the activities of cultural institutions; prepare the annual event plan and budgets for the BLPC; ensure responsible preservation of BLPC inventory and other material assets; ensure compliance with the BLPC regulations and internal rules of procedure; ensure continuity of amateur art groups and interest groups/clubs activities and accessibility of cultural services; cooperate with institutions and structural units on cultural and sports planning and implementation matters; promote the growth of artistic quality standards of cultural events; foster creative self-expression of various age groups and social groups in Laidzes Parish in accordance with their interests and needs; plan, coordinate, and manage active recreation and sports activities. Requirements: first-level higher education appropriate to the field of activity, supplemented with training related to the performance of job duties; experience in cultural work or similar artistic, creative, or organizational activities; skills in working with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other programs; understanding of municipal work organization and financial planning; knowledge of cultural institution management and development trends; good interpersonal and communication skills; necessary qualifications and/or experience in managing institutions, structural units, or administrative work.
