Jēkabpils Municipality Culture Department (registration number 40900009295) announces an open competition for the position of Director of Antūži Community Center and Varieši Community Center (indefinite term) Main duties of the position: 1. direct, plan, organize and coordinate the work and finances of the community centers in accordance with legal and other regulatory requirements; 2. organize the administrative and business matters of the community centers and ensure their execution; 3. participate in commissions and working groups according to the management orders of the Jēkabpils Municipality Culture Department and prepare necessary documentation; 4. prepare budget estimates for the community centers and coordinate efficient budget utilization; 5. plan, organize and conduct cultural and leisure events at Antūži Community Center, Varieši Community Center and other venues, control the use of allocated funds for these purposes; 6. prepare event plans and compile event budgets; 7. participate in project competitions organized by the city, municipalities and various funds, promote fundraising for events; 8. build cooperation with mass media, inform the public about events and activities, ensure event advertising campaigns; 9. prepare reports to the copyright agency within specified deadlines, ensure copyright compliance at events; 10. cooperate with amateur arts groups, coordinate and organize their work and resolve various issues related to the operation of these groups; 11. plan spaces and time for events and rehearsals, ensure room order before and after events, and if necessary, supervise cultural events; 12. monitor compliance with occupational safety, data protection, electrical safety and fire safety regulations during group classes, concerts and performances. Requirements for candidates: 1. higher education in humanities, cultural management or professional secondary education in the culture field with completion of a licensed professional development program in cultural management; 2. work experience in cultural management; 3. excellent organizational, communication and cooperation skills; 4. ability to set priorities, organize and plan work; 5. conceptual thinking, positive attitude towards innovation, creativity and self-initiative; 6. orientation towards development and achievement of results; 7. proficiency in using Microsoft Office software and other programs in a Windows environment at an experienced user level.
