Registration No. 90000012827, Daugavas iela 29, Mārupe, Mārupes novads, LV-2167 Mārupes novada pašvaldība Mārupes novada Tūrisma un uzņēmējdarbības atbalsta aģentūra invites applications for AGENCY DIRECTOR profession code 1112 36 (fixed-term position – five years) Principal Job Responsibilities: manage and organize the work of Mārupes novada Tūrisma un uzņēmējdarbības atbalsta aģentūra in accordance with applicable regulations, the Agency's charter, and objectives set by the municipality; develop and implement the Agency's medium-term development strategy, annual work plan, and budget, ensuring effective financial and resource management; promote business development in Mārupes novads through collaboration with entrepreneurs, investors, state institutions, and partner organizations; plan and implement the municipality's tourism development and public engagement activities, strengthening the Mārupes novads brand and recognition in Latvia and abroad; atract investors for the development of municipal property and secure external funding from international financial markets; ensure high-quality service delivery by the Agency to residents and entrepreneurs; lead the Agency team, developing employees' professional competencies, motivation, and performance; represent the Agency in relations with state and municipal institutions, entrepreneurs, partner organizations, and other entities; prepare proposals, reports, draft decisions, and other documents within the Agency's scope of competence. Position Requirements and Necessary Knowledge: academic or second-level professional higher education in management, entrepreneurship, economics, tourism, or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage; at least three years of experience in a management position acquired within the last seven years; experience working in state and/or municipal institutions; experience in developing and implementing strategies or development planning documents; experience collaborating with entrepreneurs, investors, or inter-institutional partners; knowledge of budget planning, strategic planning, and project management; understanding of regulations governing the operation of public agencies, municipal activities, and administrative processes; excellent skills in working with MS Office software; state language proficiency at the highest level in accordance with the requirements of the State Language Law; English language proficiency at least at C1 level in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: https://europa.eu/europass/lv/common-european-framework-reference-language-skills excellent strategic planning, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
