Main job responsibilities:
Direct, plan, organize, and ensure the operation of Valkas novada Culture Center (hereinafter - Institution) in accordance with the Institution's regulations;
Ensure the development and implementation of regulatory acts, cultural strategies, and other documents necessary for the Institution's operations;
Ensure diversity and accessibility of cultural events in the district;
Promote resident participation in cultural activities and creative leisure pursuits;
Responsible for the conduct of cultural events in the district, including developing a comprehensive work plan for cultural activities and coordinating its implementation;
Ensure the organization of nationally and internationally significant events in Valkas novads;
Responsible for the fulfillment of work tasks and professional development of subordinate employees;
Ensure cultural methodological support and participation in the song and dance festival movement;
Responsible for the preservation, efficient use, maintenance, and management of the Institution's financial and material assets;
Prepare the Institution's annual budget project;
Enter into commercial contracts for services and goods procurement for the Institution's business operations.
Requirements for candidates:
Compliance with the requirements of Section 6, Part 2 of the Culture Centers Law;
Experience in organizing cultural events or implementing cultural projects;
Experience in human resource management, preparation of strategic documents, budget planning, and execution monitoring;
Knowledge of cultural institution operations and relevant regulatory acts;
Excellent management, communication, and presentation skills;
State language proficiency at the highest level;
Excellent digital skills;
Category B driver's license.
