About the RoleWe are seeking a Parts Management Operator for a long-term consulting assignment with an international technology and industrial company. The company is in a development phase where article and master data needs to be consolidated and quality-assured in a central PLM system. By improving data quality, reducing duplicates, and standardizing work processes, you will contribute to better conditions for design, procurement, supply chain, and aftermarket operations. You will initially join a small team and primarily work with other internal teams at the company. The role involves significant independent responsibility while working closely with your manager and receiving ongoing support in daily tasks. Key Responsibilities: Handle incoming requests for new or modified catalog and standard parts. Verify if articles are already registered and identify and manage duplicates. Create, register, and quality-assure articles and associated master data in the PLM system. Ensure that datasheets, dimensions, materials, surface treatments, standards, and other mandatory information are correct and complete. Handle basic coding and registration in PLM. Drive articles through approval processes and publish them in the shared catalog. Manage change control for supplier changes, component substitutions, or modified technical requirements. Create and maintain material descriptions, standards, instructions, and other governing documentation. Ensure that data and documentation meet aftermarket needs. Gather documentation for ongoing reporting. Follow established data governance processes and contribute to developing them as new needs arise. Collaborate with designers, engineers, procurement, sourcing, supply chain, and aftermarket teams. What We're Looking ForExperience from a technical or industrial company, for example in automotive, mechanics, hydraulics, or manufacturing. Experience with master data, parts administration, parts management, technical procurement, sourcing, supply chain, technical service, or a related field. Strong system skills and understanding of how article data, documentation, and structures are managed in various system environments. Experience with PLM and/or ERP systems. Basic technical understanding of components, materials, surface treatments, or international standards. Ability to read, understand, and quality-assure technical information and documentation. Very good English skills, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have a technical education and experience with ARAS, SAP, or similar systems. Since the business is international, you need to be comfortable collaborating across both organizational boundaries. About the PositionThis is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by OIO and work on-site with our client. The assignment is initially for 12 months, with good opportunities for extension as the need is assessed to be long-term.
