About the Position
As a park worker, you will work with the maintenance and care of the municipality's parks, green spaces, and public environments. Your work tasks are varied and include:
Grass cutting and trimming
Maintenance of shrubs, flower beds, and plantings
Maintenance of playgrounds and green areas
Cleaning and sanitation of public environments
Emptying trash bins
Machine maintenance and simple equipment repairs
The work is performed both independently and together with colleagues and involves regular contact with the public.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with education in horticulture, green space maintenance, or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
A valid B-class driver's license for manual transmission is required.
As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and thorough. You have good teamwork skills but can also work independently as solo work does occur. You also have good customer service skills and maintain a professional demeanor.
It is advantageous if you have experience working with green spaces and outdoor environments as well as with machinery used in park and green space maintenance.
