About the Position As a park worker with special responsibility for planting areas, you will work with the maintenance and upkeep of our parks, plantings, and green spaces. The work is varied and follows the changes of the seasons. You will work both independently and together with colleagues to ensure that our outdoor environments maintain high quality. Other tasks such as spring cleaning, leaf collection, and grass cutting may occur. In winter, you are part of the winter operations with snow and ice management. Work Tasks Maintenance and upkeep of planting areas Planting and establishment of plant material Weed removal, fertilizing, and watering Pruning and maintenance of shrubs and trees Maintenance of grass areas and lawns Participation in the development and improvement of our green environments Handling of machines and tools used in park operations Are You the One We're Looking For? We are seeking you who have: Horticultural training or other education/experience that we consider equivalent Good plant knowledge and knowledge of plant care and development Experience with maintenance and upkeep of planting areas, shrubs, trees, and grass areas Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work tasks Class B driver's license Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written It is a merit if you have: Experience with maintenance of public or public outdoor environments Good machinery experience and experience with park and garden machinery Brush cutter license Chainsaw license Vocational certificate in pruning and tree care Experience in municipal park management or similar operations As a Person To succeed in the role, you are structured and confident in your work, with the ability to plan and take responsibility for your work tasks.
