JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want to work with developing our green outdoor environments? The Parks Department is now seeking a practical, committed team member who thrives with varied outdoor tasks. This position is a temporary assignment with possible extension. As a team member in the Parks Department, you will help build our facilities on the municipality's public spaces and properties. The role involves considerable practical work and requires you to operate excavators for various earth and construction work. We are a small work group with great variety in the scope and nature of assignments. Your primary task will be excavator operation during construction projects alongside various other park and facilities-related tasks. QUALIFICATIONS Secondary school education Excavator operator certification Driver's license B Meritorious: Chainsaw operator certification AB Verified experience in earth and construction work. Temporary assignment 6 months. Employment can begin as soon as possible. Applications must be received by 30/9 2026, but employment can occur on a rolling basis before that.
