JOB DUTIES
You will be part of our teams that, on behalf of municipal ordering organizations, perform maintenance contracts and minor construction work in public areas such as parks, bathing beaches, and playgrounds, as well as exterior property maintenance at schools, preschools, and care homes.
The position is located in the Outdoor Environment unit at the Ground Construction department in Technology and Property Management, where you will have colleagues in Infrastructure, vehicles, and supplies. Summer and winter preparedness are part of the position.
Currently, we have approximately 35 employees in the Ground Construction department.
QUALIFICATIONS
We would like you to have horticultural education (at least upper secondary level) with a focus on green space maintenance or equivalent education that the employer considers equivalent. You must have at least 5 years of experience in large-scale operations and great passion for horticultural work. You have high work ethics and are ambitious and responsible.
We are looking for someone who is a team player who can contribute both in group and independent tasks. We place great importance on your personality to be part of the team. You also need to be flexible to changes during the workday with the ability to adapt your work.
You communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and have computer skills.
You hold a Category B driver's license for manual transmission.
Advantages include professional qualifications and/or training in chainsaws and brush cutters, plant knowledge and pruning, and general installation knowledge. Advantageous to have expertise in tree pruning. Certifications such as Work on roads, hot work, lift, and workplace safety training. Experience with machinery, as both smaller and larger machines are used in daily work.
