Head of Studies Division (profession code 134521)
for an indefinite period
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and manage the work of the Studies Division, ensuring efficient administration of the study process.
Ensure that the study process complies with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia and JVLMA's internal regulatory documents.
Coordinate the administration of study programs, student admission, study progress, and graduation processes.
Provide support to academic staff and advise students on study process matters.
Oversee the maintenance of study records and ensure accurate data entry and maintenance in the necessary information systems.
Participate in study quality assurance and improvement processes, prepare reports and analytical information on the study process.
Requirements for Candidates:
Academic or professional higher education.
Professional knowledge relevant to the position.
Work experience in a higher education institution will be considered an additional qualification.
Knowledge of the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia in the field of higher education and the organization of the study process.
Understanding of study quality assurance principles and higher education development trends.
Excellent knowledge of Latvian and good knowledge of English for working with regulatory documents and international students.
Good computer skills (MS Office).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to process and analyze large volumes of information and data.
