Alma Assistans is a dedicated company that works in collaboration with our clients to create personalized care assistance. We work closely with our clients and understand that good relationships are the key to well-functioning care. We operate throughout Sweden with offices in Uppsala, Jönköping, Ulricehamn, Malmö, Helsingborg, and Växjö. We are now hiring 1-2 personal care assistants as hourly temporary staff. Onboarding can start quickly for the right person. It's important that you can step in as extra coverage during sick leave and vacations. We see it as an advantage if you can maintain some regular shifts to keep your skills sharp. The role involves supporting an individual with personal care needs and daily assistance at home. This is a responsible position where you will help create conditions for as independent and active a life as possible on a daily basis. Responsibilities: As a personal care assistant, your tasks will include support with personal hygiene and care, help with daily household chores, and accompaniment to activities and medical appointments. Since the client has aphasia, clear communication is essential for adapting your work to their individual needs. You will work largely independently in this role, but of course have support from both supervisors and colleagues. Working hours vary with day shifts (07:00-15:00), evening shifts (14:30-20:00), and night shifts (20:00-08:00, awake nights). Longer shifts may occur on weekends. You should ideally be available for days and evenings, not exclusively nights. Your Profile: We're looking for someone with experience in healthcare and care services, preferably with training in nursing care or as a nursing assistant. Personal suitability is very important, and we seek a flexible and attentive person who can work independently while being part of a team. Strong Swedish language skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for proper communication and documentation, as well as to understand written information.
