Welcome to our Specialist Dental Care unit and the Department of Endodontics, Oral Prosthodontics, and Periodontology/Implants. We are seeking a Senior Dentist in Endodontics who, together with other colleagues, wants to drive the department's development into the future. We offer you excellent opportunities for professional development, research, and teaching. You will have the opportunity to work in a delegated manner together with our skilled dental hygienists. The Endodontics Department provides specialist dental care, consultation services, specialty training (ST) education, and research and development projects. We currently have two dentists in ST training. The unit has a total of approximately 50 employees, with about 10 working in the Endodontics Department. The department is centrally located in Örebro at Klostergatan 26. We have access to 4 treatment rooms, an administrative office, and a shared break room for all Specialist Dental Care staff, with an outdoor seating area for breaks in nice weather. At Public Dental Care Specialist Dental Services, the following specialties are represented: Occlusal Physiology, Sleep Apnea, Endodontics, Dental Radiology, Oral Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, and Periodontology. We collaborate with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic and Orofacial Medicine. We maintain close collaboration in care, education, and research with the nearby University Hospital and Örebro University. Responsibilities As a Senior Dentist, you will have patient care, consultation services, and education and mentoring responsibilities, including mentoring ST dentists, merit dentists, and niche dentists. Your ability to serve as a mentor in education is highly valued. The department maintains close collaboration with other dental specialties and other healthcare units. Your ability to work in a multidisciplinary manner is highly valued. Qualifications You have specialist certification in Endodontics.
