The clinics have well-developed collaboration with primary care and other stakeholders working with children. There are opportunities for individual and flexible arrangements of physician positions with various combinations of clinical work, research, and other pediatric subspecialties such as allergology.
Research activity within the operational area is high, which means there are good opportunities to conduct research and development.
Work Tasks
At our general pediatrics clinics, you work with assessment, treatment, and follow-up of conditions such as asthma, allergies, obesity, growth disorders, celiac disease, and pain issues. The position includes supervising younger colleagues and teaching and mentoring medical students. On-call duties may be required.
Qualifications
Chief Physician/Specialist in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, preferably with experience from general pediatrics. Good collaboration skills, flexibility, and a drive to develop the operations are qualities we value. Great consideration is given to personal suitability.

Full-time. Start date by agreement. Chief Physician or Specialist Physician depending on qualifications.

About the Operations
Within the operational area of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, we conduct broad pediatric operations and have good expertise in many subspecialty areas. We have a neonatal ward, a pediatric care ward for children and adolescents with both medical and surgical conditions, a mobile pediatric team, a Pediatrics and Adolescent Clinic, daycare, and three general pediatrics clinics. At the pediatrics and adolescent clinic, a dietitian, social worker, psychologist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, teacher, and play therapist work in close collaboration with each other and with other healthcare staff. The operations employ over 240 staff members.
