WORK TASKS We have operations in both day surgery and inpatient care for orthopedic patients. We perform, among other things, elective routine operations for hands, feet, and knees as well as joint replacement surgery for hips and knees. Acute orthopedic surgery is part of the daily routine. At the clinic, our orthopedic colleagues see a broad range of unselected general orthopedics and also some hand surgery. As an orthopedic surgeon, you will be part of our medical team with varied work and the opportunity to subspecialize in an orthopedic area of your choice. On-call and standby duty are included in the position. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a licensed physician with specialist training in orthopedics. Experience in elective hip replacement surgery is necessary. If you additionally have competence in knee replacement surgery, that is a merit. Knowledge and experience in basic foot surgery and/or hand surgery are also merits. It is necessary to be able to manage acute orthopedics including surgical treatment of the most common fractures. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and other languages are seen as an asset.
