Description Since January 1, 2019, the municipalities of Bjuv, Klippan, Perstorp, and Åstorp collaborate through a joint guardianship board. Perstorp is the host municipality and holds both the chairmanship and the guardianship unit, which is responsible for the entire collaboration. The board and unit handle the statutory tasks that fall to the guardianship office in the cooperating municipalities. The board is a legal authority of first instance, and its main task is to exercise supervision over the activities of guardians, trustees, and administrators. High demands exist that operations be conducted in a legally secure and professional manner. The operations handle approximately 1,000 cases. Work Tasks As a guardianship case officer, you work independently investigating incoming cases and making decisions according to delegation regulations regarding, for example, temporary trusteeship and changes of representative. As a guardianship case officer, you present cases before the board and represent the guardianship office before court and other authorities according to Chapter 12, Section 14 of the Code of Judicial Procedure. The position includes review of financial accounts and more varied work tasks such as case handling, activity-specific projects, and recruitment of representatives. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree such as a law degree or other education that we consider equivalent for the position. It is meriting if you have experience in: Guardianship case handling, government authority exercise, or other legal application Working in a politically managed organization System experience from the Wärna Go case management system.
