The school is located in central Falun with proximity to the Lugnet area and a very nice school yard. We have good student results, which is a testament to systematic and good pedagogical work from everyone who works at the school. Together we work to create a good working climate which leads to a secure school experience for the students who come here and we value good dialogue with guardians. We are also proud participants in RF/SISU Dalarna's Movement Initiative in Schools. We now need to expand our operations with more engaged team members. We are now looking for you who want to be part of our team and help develop the after-school program further. You will be part of a work team where you are expected to work according to the team's objectives, and plan and conduct teaching in the after-school program. Welcome to submit your application! Job Responsibilities In the role as a teacher in the after-school program, you will work with students during the school day as well as in the after-school program. The work includes teaching, recess activities, planning, implementation, documentation and follow-up as well as evaluation of activities according to established goals and guidelines. Through clear pedagogical structure, you create a stimulating and secure environment for students before, during and after the school day. Beyond teaching, other tasks that occur at the school are included, for example opening and closing the after-school program, contact with guardians, collaboration with colleagues. You are expected to contribute to a positive working climate at the workplace. Qualifications The role requires: Certified teacher for after-school program work or equivalent experience Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written Personal Qualities We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You take initiative and drive activities and projects when others hesitate, and you communicate openly by addressing questions and challenges directly. Meriting Qualifications Experience planning, structuring and conducting teaching and activities in accordance with the school's and after-school program's curriculum, with focus on creating a secure learning environment for students. Good knowledge of adaptations and inclusive working methods Experience with low-arousal interaction and working with children within the NPF spectrum.
