We are looking for an Orthopedic Technician Customer Service Representative on a part-time basis in Motala. In East Gothia, we currently operate at three hospitals: University Hospital in Linköping, Vrinnevi Hospital in Norrköping, and the hospital in Motala. We currently have approximately 45 employees, with 8 employees in Motala. Through our agreement with Region East Gothia, we provide the region with orthopedic technical care. At our facilities, we also have shops adjacent to the orthopedic technical department that serve the growing private healthcare market. Your Responsibilities In your role as an orthopedic technician customer service representative, your primary responsibility will be working in the shop. You will also, as needed, meet patients and customers at the reception desk and handle administrative tasks. Your responsibilities include: Selling shoes, insoles, orthoses, and operating the cash register Administering and managing shop inventory and stock Scheduling appointments and administering patient visits Answering phone calls and independently handling and providing advice on matters related to calls/visits What We Are Looking For Completed upper secondary education Experience with similar tasks Good computer skills, including knowledge of the Office suite Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, and good English skills Experience in healthcare and/or the orthopedic technical industry is a merit but not required As a person, we would appreciate if you are service-oriented, solution-focused, communicative, attentive, calm/composed, and flexible. You enjoy working independently as well as in a team and feel comfortable working in a high-paced environment with rapid changes. You have an excellent ability to maintain organization and order and prioritize your tasks. If you also have an interest in clinical operations and medical diagnoses, that would be a major plus! The Position Part-time 50%, fixed-term employment for 1 year starting August 2026. We have a collective bargaining agreement.
