We are looking for an Orthotics and Prosthetics Technician at Ottobock Care in Stockholm About Us Ottobock Care is one of Sweden's largest orthotics and prosthetics operations with clinics in 20 locations across Sweden, and together with Ottobock we are one of the world's leading suppliers in orthotics and prosthetics. We serve patients through referrals as well as private individuals in need of prosthetics, orthotics, and orthopedic shoes or inserts. Based on our unique collaborations with medical personnel, patients, families, user organizations, and suppliers, our goal is to offer the market's best possible comprehensive solution for our patients and customers. Ottobock Care in Stockholm has locations in Bergshamra, Södertälje, Norrtälje, Dalens Hospital, and Danderyds Hospital. We are approximately 65 employees with diverse expertise. Ottobock Care currently has an agreement with Region Stockholm to provide comprehensive orthotics and prosthetics services as well as rehabilitation for amputees. We work with all types of orthotics and prosthetics devices and collaborate closely with healthcare through team-based collaboration. About the Position With us you will work together with your colleagues to improve quality of life for people with functional limitations by enhancing their mobility and independence. We work with all types of orthotics and prosthetics devices from individually customized foot beds to orthotics and prosthetics. The foundation of our operations is our collaboration with other healthcare personnel and specialist teams. What We Offer The position is full-time with placement in Bergshamra. About You We are looking for someone with a qualified vocational degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics (400YH credits) and/or practical experience manufacturing custom-made devices in prepreg, lamination, and thermoplastics. You are fluent in both Swedish and English and have good computer skills. You have a strong ability to plan, organize, and structure your work while meeting deadlines. You can turn ideas into practical action. You are proactive and perform your work independently, taking responsibility for your tasks, driving your own processes, and ensuring they are completed. You are solution-oriented and when problems arise, you focus your energy on finding solutions while maintaining focus on the goal.
