Ottobock Care in Stockholm is located in Solna, Södertälje, Norrtälje, Dalens Hospital, and Danderyds Hospital. We are approximately 65 employees with unique expertise. Ottobock Care currently has contracts with Region Stockholm to provide comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic services as well as rehabilitation of amputees. We currently work with all types of orthotic and prosthetic devices and work closely with healthcare through, among other things, team collaboration. We are in an exciting development phase with high ambitions to establish ourselves in orthotics and prosthetics, amputation rehabilitation, and to continue to refine our operations. About the Position As an Orthotist-Prosthetist with us, you work to improve the quality of life for people by improving their mobility and independence. Your main responsibilities consist of meeting with patients to assess, fit, and trial devices according to our prescription process. Initially, you will work with devices in the form of orthopedic shoes, insoles, and orthoses with the opportunity to later expand your knowledge with additional devices adapted to your needs, competence, and interests. You will be part of the clinical team together with orthotic and prosthetic patient reception specialists, orthotist-prosthetists, orthotic and prosthetic engineers, podiatrists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, physicians, and psychologists. What We Offer The position is a permanent full-time employment based in Solna. Working hours are weekdays, between 08:00-16:30. Start date according to agreement. We have a collective bargaining agreement which means you are covered by collectively agreed insurance. Work-related travel may occur. You will also have the opportunity to participate in our internal trainee program for work with orthopedic shoes and insoles. About You As a person, you take independent responsibility for your work tasks, drive your own processes, and ensure that you complete them. You make quick decisions and act based on them despite limited information or difficult circumstances. You have good judgment under time pressure. At the same time, you have a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work and meet deadlines. We are looking for someone who masters both Swedish and English and has good computer skills. It is a merit if you have education and a degree in physiotherapy, naprapathy, or chiropractic. A driver's license is a requirement for the position.
