We serve patients through referrals as well as private individuals who need prosthetics, orthotics, seating aids, and orthopedic shoes or insoles. Ottobock Care in Stockholm is part of Ottobock Care Sweden and operates one of the largest orthopedic technology facilities in Sweden. Today, approximately 70 employees work with us in various professional categories, and we have extensive in-house production of our devices. We also have a specialist team for arm prosthetics and a rehabilitation team for post-amputation care. We work with all types of assistive device categories. About the Position As a Licensed Orthotist/Prosthetist, your primary responsibilities will include patient consultations and fitting of all types of orthopedic technology devices. You will be involved in developing our operations, from our product range to improving our processes. Your role includes collaborating with other healthcare professionals in the region and you will also participate in our on-call service for hospitals. You will work in a dynamic environment characterized by deep knowledge and high professional pride. You will have a key role and be part of an engaged and competent team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central, with work aimed at improving people's quality of life by enhancing their mobility and independence. What We Offer The position is a permanent full-time employment based in Bergshamra. Working hours according to schedule, daytime. Start date by agreement. We have a collective agreement which means you are covered by collective agreement-based insurance. Business travel may occur. If you are newly graduated from the Orthotist/Prosthetist Program, you will have the opportunity to participate in a 2-year trainee program with us. As an orthotist/prosthetist with us, you can also apply for a position on one of our competence teams. About You We are looking for you who are a Licensed Orthotist/Prosthetist. License and degree from the Orthotist/Prosthetist Program in Jönköping or equivalent is a requirement for your application to be processed. An exception applies if you are newly graduated and have not yet received your license from the National Board of Health and Welfare. Experience working as an orthotist/prosthetist is a merit. You have good computer skills and speak Swedish and English fluently in speech and writing. You work proactively, independently, and turn ideas into practical action. When a problem arises, you focus and direct your energy toward finding solutions while maintaining your focus on the goal. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work while meeting deadlines. In collaboration with others, you contribute knowledge and experience while being attentive and respectful and looking out for the group's best interests.
