In Jönköping County, Ottobock Care currently operates at all three hospitals: Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö, Länssjukhuset Ryhov in Jönköping, and Värnamo Hospital. We are now looking for an Orthotist/Prosthetist for the Jönköping region, which currently consists of 38 employees. About the Position As an Orthotist/Prosthetist, your main responsibility will be patient consultations with fitting of all types of orthopedic technical aids. You will be involved in developing our operations, which can range from our product range to improving our processes. Your role includes collaborating with other healthcare professionals in the region and you will also participate in our on-call service to the hospital. You will work in a dynamic environment characterized by deep expertise and high professional pride. You will have a key role and be part of an engaged and competent team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central, and whose work aims to improve people's quality of life by enhancing their mobility and independence. We work with all types of aids for patients in Region Jönköping, from scapular and scoliosis braces to arm and leg prosthetics, and we have extensive experience working with scanning technology. We Offer The position is a permanent full-time employment based in Jönköping. Working hours according to schedule, daytime shifts. Immediate start. If you are newly graduated from the Orthotist/Prosthetist program, you will have the opportunity to participate in a 2-year trainee program with us. As an orthotist/prosthetist at us, you can also apply for a position in one of our competency teams. About You We are looking for you who are trained as an Orthotist/Prosthetist. Licensure and a degree from the Orthotist/Prosthetist program in Jönköping or equivalent is required for the application to be processed. An exception applies if you are newly graduated and have not yet received licensure from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare. Experience working as an orthotist/prosthetist is an asset. You have good computer skills and speak and write Swedish fluently. As a person, you take independent responsibility for your work tasks, drive your own processes, and ensure that you complete them. You make quick decisions and act on them despite limited information or difficult circumstances. You have good judgment under time pressure. You also have the ability to show understanding and put yourself in someone else's perspective without taking on their emotions, and you adapt easily to new circumstances and can quickly change your approach.
