We are now recruiting an Orthotics Engineer to our Linköping office. In Östergötland, we currently operate at three hospitals: University Hospital in Linköping, Vrinnevi Hospital in Norrköping, and the hospital in Motala. We currently have approximately 45 employees, with 19 in Linköping. Through our agreement with Region Östergötland, we provide orthotics care to the region. Our units also have shops adjacent to the orthotics department that serve the growing privately funded healthcare sector.
Your Responsibilities
As an Orthotics Engineer, you will help patients with analysis, fitting, and prescription of orthotic devices. You will work broadly with a focus on pediatric devices. A common feature across all our regional units is that orthotics care is provided in close collaboration with specialized healthcare and primary care. In patient work, you will be part of a team with physicians, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. On-call duty will be part of the position, where you will help patients across all areas and age groups. You will be offered varied work where the use of modern technical and clinical methods permeates daily operations.
Who We Are Looking For
We seek someone who is a certified Orthotics Engineer (Leg. Ortopedingenjör). It is advantageous if you have experience with clinical work as an Orthotics Engineer and/or have worked with pediatric devices. You have good computer skills and speak and write fluent Swedish. As a person, we prefer someone who is communicative, service-oriented, and flexible. You are responsible and have a talent for building good relationships. We also see that you are self-driven, creative, and thorough in your work. Employment
Full-time, permanent position. 6-month probation period applies. Start date by agreement. We have collective agreements.
