Do you want to help people live more mobile lives? We are now seeking an Orthotics Engineer for a temporary position at our clinic in Huddinge. The department consists of approximately 25 employees with extensive experience working with all types of orthotic devices and a shop serving private customers and hospital staff. As an orthotic clinic, centrally located at Huddinge Hospital and with newly opened facilities in Södertälje center, we are a natural and highly sought-after collaboration partner at multidisciplinary clinics within many diagnostic areas. We have good relationships with other professional disciplines and there are great opportunities to further develop these relationships. Your Tasks Your main responsibility will be to receive patients, conduct assessments, and prescribe devices. You will work in a varied role with multiple patient groups and orthotic devices. You are offered diverse work where the use of traditional and modern technical and clinical methods permeate daily operations. Our department has many neuropathy patients with a focus on EDS, hypertonia and polio patients, but also many diabetes, prosthetics and acute care patients. Since we are located at Huddinge Hospital, we have extensive on-call services and collaboration with care units. We continuously work to develop our operations, from our product range to improving our processes, in which you will also be involved.
