About the Position Do you enjoy working hands-on with machinery and love tinkering and problem-solving? Then you might be exactly who we're looking for! Our client in Anderstorp is seeking someone who thrives in a practical role close to the machines. As an operator, you will run and monitor machinery within the metal industry. Your tasks will include setting up, adjusting, and changing tools. You'll perform ongoing maintenance and simple repairs, and ensure quality of produced parts. The machines are not fully automatic, which means the work requires a genuine interest in mechanics and practical skills. We're looking for someone who: Has experience in industrial work, preferably in the metal industry Is comfortable with tinkering, mechanical work, and solving practical problems Can read technical drawings and use measuring tools Holds a forklift license and has experience operating reach stackers and counterbalance forklifts Has a good understanding of mechanics Is thorough, responsible, and quality-conscious Enjoys working independently as well as in a team Work is conducted during daytime hours, and we prefer candidates living in the local area, as the plan is for you to transition directly to the client after the recruitment period.
