About the Company GKN Aerospace Sweden is part of GKN Aerospace, which manufactures engine components, aircraft structures, cabin windows, wiring harnesses, and much more for many of the world's aircraft. The companies in the Aerospace division working with aircraft engine parts form the Engines business, and at the facility in Trollhättan, advanced components for aircraft and rocket engines are developed and manufactured. They also provide engine maintenance services. The Material Solutions department team works every day to make a difference and strives to improve and develop their working methods. Material Solutions is looking for you to strengthen the team as a Multiflex Operator and work with new, high-tech equipment while being part of the shared journey toward the future. Your Responsibilities In the role of operator, you will work with a variety of machines and technologies, from some of the world's largest 3D printing machines for powder metals to EB welders, spark machines, heat treatment equipment, and much more. This role is primarily a powder bed operator with the opportunity to flex-train later on the equipment mentioned above. You will have the opportunity to: • Operate and monitor advanced manufacturing processes. • Be responsible for equipment operations and ensure high-quality production of components. • Work in an innovative environment where automation and new technology are in focus. • If you are passionate about modern technology and future manufacturing methods – then this is the right role for you! Your Profile • A 3-year technical education or equivalent experience from the manufacturing industry. • Ability to work in a structured and organized manner with a passion for continuous improvement. • Good teamwork skills and a natural customer focus. • Experience with additive manufacturing methods is a plus. • A team player who is passionate about learning new things. You thrive in a dynamic environment where continuous development is the norm and no two days are the same.
