Operator - Mechanical Processing

About the Position We are seeking an Operator in mechanical processing for Westinghouse. In this role, you will work in a technically advanced production environment where you manufacture and process components for nuclear fuel assemblies. The work is characterized by high demands on safety, quality, and precision. You will be responsible for several steps in the mechanical manufacturing process, with tasks including bending, planing, edge cutting, milling, and filing. If you hold a welding certification, welding in an automated chamber may also be part of your responsibilities. Work is performed according to established instructions and procedures, which requires attention to detail, responsibility, and a strong focus on safety. Main Responsibilities Manufacturing and mechanical processing of components for nuclear fuel assemblies Bending, planing, and edge cutting of materials Milling and filing according to drawings and instructions Quality control and follow-up of completed work Work based on drawings and technical documentation Welding in automated chamber (for those with welding certification) Work in accordance with applicable safety, quality, and environmental procedures Work is scheduled for daytime hours with immediate start. Qualifications Mechanics training or equivalent work experience Experience with workshop work Good ability to read technical drawings Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Very good Swedish, both spoken and written Basic knowledge of English Meritorious Experience with SAP Welding certification Experience with mechanical processing in manufacturing industry We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
