Emergency Medical Aid Service (registration no. 90009029104, nmpd.gov.lv) invites applications for vacant positions Emergency Medical Vehicle Driver (profession code 8322 08) Specialized Medical Center Work schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week according to an aggregated work time schedule (1 vacancy for a fixed term, 1 vacancy for an indefinite term) Work location: Riga Your responsibilities: ensure safe and timely transportation of the Specialized Medical Center (SMC) team or medical personnel using an emergency medical vehicle, following safe driving principles and selecting the optimal route; provide support to SMC team medical professionals in delivering emergency medical care to patients, within your competence (participation in resuscitation procedures, patient transport, medical equipment operation); monitor the technical condition of the vehicle and its installed equipment and ensure necessary apparatus availability, maintain order and cleanliness; provide support during public events, emergency situations, as well as planned patient transport to and from medical facilities (including abroad); prepare route reports and other technical documentation.
