At Skånetrafiken, we have approximately 500 employees working with business development, procurement, traffic planning, marketing, mobility service administration, IT, and customer service. We work to develop our traffic and services so that our customers, who currently number 475,000 per day, can travel in a simple and sustainable way. Operational Coordination is responsible for coordinating, producing, informing, and following up on acute disruption information in Skånetrafiken's internal and external channels. Our operations are time-intensive 24/7 activities that monitor traffic and guide passengers through disruptions via Skånetrafiken's channels. We produce disruption information, coordinate traffic, guide passengers through public transportation disruptions, and follow up on replacement services. We report deviations for follow-up to improve the traffic delivery to our passengers. 2 position(s). TASKS We now have the opportunity to welcome operations leaders to two temporary positions! As an operations leader with us, you monitor all traffic for Skånetrafiken in real time, which also includes adjacent counties and Denmark. You guide our passengers through traffic disruptions 24/7. You are responsible for publishing traffic information, both acute and planned deviations, on all of Skånetrafiken's digital channels including app, website, and bus stop displays. The assignment also includes communicating disruption information internally and reporting deviations to relevant business areas who can in turn develop our services. Additionally, you handle external contact with traffic operators and collaborate with the Swedish Transport Administration and emergency services regarding disruption information. You communicate disruption information to colleagues who meet customers via phone, chat, social media, and in person. You are the primary contact for Skånetrafiken's operations duty during incidents that affect Skånetrafiken's business-critical areas or other government-initiated events. The role also includes handling press contact for Skånetrafiken during duty hours. Since December 2025, we also handle replacement services by ordering, coordinating, informing, and following up on delivery to passengers. As an operations leader, you have overall responsibility for the function of the assignment and in relation to your colleagues on duty. You distribute tasks and have delegated authority when needed to expand staffing in the service. Working hours extend around the clock, all days of the year. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you have a university or college degree, or alternatively other education combined with equivalent competence that the employer deems relevant for the position. You have good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing. Additionally, you have good experience working with large amounts of information from multiple systems simultaneously to interpret and rework communications for targeted audiences. We consider it a merit if you have worked with certain management responsibility, traffic control, incident management, public transportation, in traffic control systems, or similar operational work. Good English language skills and understanding of Danish are advantageous. We also view it positively if you have taken a leadership training course. As a person, you have good stress tolerance during acute incidents and the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously—such as accidents, spontaneous protests, or other situations affecting Skånetrafiken's passengers in a time-intensive operation. You have the ability to perform work at varying paces, from calm periods to high-intensity situations where multiple parties expect immediate delivery. You have the ability to create a sense of security for the team you lead in stressful situations. It comes naturally to you to collaborate effectively in a team, but also work independently during acute incidents where you need to make decisions that affect many. You are confident in your leadership role, structured and methodical, and can through your coaching approach lead with judgment and personal maturity.
