We are looking for someone with several years of experience who wants to develop in your role as a procurement manager through suitable assignments with our customers.
Key responsibilities
As an operational procurement manager, you play an important role in the procurement team that controls purchasing and procurement. You handle orders and order acknowledgments, review invoices and control returns and complaints. Delivery precision and quality control are important parts of the work, and together with the rest of the team you support work with supplier development and analysis of KPIs against the supplier base.
We also see that you contribute to the development of the business in terms of optimization of work processes, workflows and tools.
Our customers offer varied work where you are given the opportunity to develop as a procurement manager and create an extensive network of contacts, both internally and externally. The assignments have a longer-term perspective, often with good chances of permanent placement with the customer.
Qualifications
To thrive in the role of procurement consultant, we see that you are a team player, solution-oriented and possess strong development drive with focus on the end goal. You view change positively, both for yourself and for the organization you represent. You should be comfortable working at a high pace and have a good understanding of the factors that drive purchasing in the supply chain.
To succeed in the role, you need the ability to work independently and can drive your procurement flow with focus on quality and delivery reliability. It is a great plus if you have good technical understanding and experience handling procurement of both standard components and more complex, customer-specific products. Since the role involves many contact points, it is important that you collaborate well and build good relationships – you represent both your client and are an ambassador for us as an employer in all meetings. You need to be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
In summary, we are looking for someone who has: • At least a couple of years of experience working with operational/tactical procurement • Relevant post-secondary education or knowledge we consider equivalent • Good skills in an ERP system and MS Office • Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
The assignment may require Swedish citizenship and that you undergo and are approved in a security vetting in accordance with applicable provisions for security protection.
