Job Description
Do you want to be part of creating vital change for vulnerable people? Then the job as Operations Manager is meaningful work. In your role as Operations Manager, you are responsible for institution-wide coordination and work management of ongoing operations outside office hours, on evenings and nights, with the aim of promoting a safe care and work environment. You guide and strengthen your colleagues in their work and ensure that work is conducted lawfully and in accordance with applicable regulations, methods, and established goals. Concretely, this includes, among other things, responsibility for incident management in alarm situations and taking necessary measures following an incident. You communicate identified deficiencies and deviations from procedures to relevant managers. You prepare and update security assessments and make decisions on coercive measures in accordance with LVU, LSU, and LVM in accordance with SiS work and delegation regulations.
Qualifications
For you to thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you are a stable person who remains calm even in stressful situations. You have the will and ability to act based on applicable decisions, guidelines, and policies. You have a holistic perspective and act in the best interest of the organization. Furthermore, you are structured in your work and have a good ability to plan and prioritize efficiently. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
You must also have:
- Appropriate university education such as social worker, behavioral scientist, or other equivalent university education, alternatively at least two years of vocational college (treatment pedagogue) combined with experience working at SiS or similar operations.
- Several years of experience working at SiS or another organization with focus on care, treatment, and security, such as social services, care and treatment, correctional services, or other relevant operations.
- Strong ability to lead, prioritize, and coordinate a work group.
- Driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Employment:
The position is a permanent full-time employment and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. Working hours are distributed across day, evening, and night shifts.
