As an Operational Procurement Officer, you are responsible for both direct and indirect procurement and have a central role in ensuring that materials, products, and services are available when needed. You work closely with production, engineering, and other parts of the business in a role where initiative, collaboration, and a solution-oriented approach are crucial. This is a role for you if you thrive on solving problems, taking initiative, and driving issues to completion. If a delivery is delayed or a product is not available, you don't settle for sending an email – you make contact, follow up, and find alternative solutions. Job responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: Be responsible for operational procurement of materials, components, and business-related products. Ensure that production has the right materials in place at the right time. Handle procurement of items such as work clothes, tools, consumables, and services. Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers via phone and email, and follow up on deliveries and discrepancies. Handle commercial matters and simple negotiations regarding prices, MOQ, freight, and packaging. Work closely with production and other internal functions to ensure efficient material flow. Contribute to developing procedures, working methods, and processes in a business that continues to grow. Experience and skills We are looking for someone with experience in operational procurement, materials planning, or supply chain, preferably from manufacturing or other production-related environments. We would like you to have: Experience with procurement or supplier contacts. Experience working in business systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Personal qualities To succeed in this role, we believe you are: Action-oriented and solution-focused.
