Professionals Nord is recruiting on behalf of X Shore an Operational Procurement Specialist for their operations in Nyköping. As an Operational Procurement Specialist, you are responsible for both direct and indirect procurement and play a central role in ensuring that materials, products, and services are in place when needed. You work closely with production, engineering, and other parts of the business in a role where initiative, collaboration, and a solution-oriented approach are crucial.
This is a role for you who enjoys solving problems, taking initiative, and driving matters through to completion. If a delivery is delayed or a product is unavailable, you don't settle for sending an email – you make contact, follow up, and find alternative solutions.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will, among other things:
- Be responsible for operational procurement of materials, components, and business-related products.
- Ensure that production has the right materials in place at the right time.
- Handle procurement of, for example, work clothes, tools, consumables, and services.
- Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers via phone and email and follow up on deliveries and discrepancies.
- Handle commercial matters and simple negotiations regarding prices, MOQs, freight, and packaging.
- Collaborate closely with production and other internal functions to ensure efficient material flow.
- Contribute to developing routines, working methods, and processes in a business that continues to grow.
Experience and Skills
We are looking for someone with experience in operational procurement, material planning, or supply chain, preferably from manufacturing industry or other production-related operations.
We would like you to have:
- Experience in procurement or supplier relations.
- Experience working in business systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.
- Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
