Responsibilities
As an Operational Procurement Officer, you will have a central role in the organization, responsible for ensuring a competitive assortment and efficient procurement processes. You will work closely with suppliers and internal functions such as sales, warehouse, and logistics to ensure high delivery precision and good profitability.
In this role, you are responsible for ongoing dialogue with suppliers regarding prices, assortment, and commercial terms. You monitor market developments, analyze sales data, and identify business opportunities that strengthen Privab's offering. Negotiations are a natural part of the work, and we are therefore looking for someone who enjoys business discussions and is motivated by creating value through good deals.
The role offers broad contact points and great variety in your daily work. You will have the opportunity to gradually take on greater responsibility for supplier development, negotiation, and category work.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has at least 2–5 years of experience in operational procurement or a similar procurement role.
Has good system knowledge and experience with business systems, such as Business Central, SAP, or equivalent.
Has experience with supplier relationships, negotiations, and commercial discussions.
Thrives in a role with many contact points and close collaboration with different functions.
Has strong analytical abilities and works in a structured manner.
Is business-minded and has a genuine interest in procurement, negotiation, and business development.
It is a plus if you have experience from grocery retail, retail services, the food industry, or other retail operations.
