About the Position As an Operational Procurement Specialist / Material Planner, you are responsible for ensuring the right material supply at the right time, at the right cost, and with the right quality. The role is central to our supply chain and involves close collaboration with suppliers, warehouse, production/operations, and other functions within our supply chain. You work both proactively and operatively with planning, monitoring, and improvement of material flows. You report to the Planning Manager and become part of the Planning Department, which is responsible for the assortment of healthcare and consumable products and for ensuring that MediCarrier receives deliveries according to contract. Your work tasks include: · responsibility for operative procurement and material planning based on forecasts and needs, · ensuring delivery precision and optimal inventory levels, · responsibility for order placement, delivery monitoring, and deviation management, · dialogue and follow-up with suppliers regarding lead times, capacity, and improvement measures, · analysis of forecasts, consumption, inventory turnover, and safety stock, · contributing to improvement work within planning processes and working methods, · participating in planning forums and providing fact-based decision support. Qualifications You hold an academic degree in, for example, logistics, industrial economics, economics, or equivalent. You have several years of experience in operative procurement and/or material planning. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of the entire supply chain and its interdependencies, as well as excellent system knowledge and experience with business systems. Experience with planning tools such as RELEX is a merit. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and communicate clearly and professionally in contact with colleagues, suppliers, and partners. We are looking for someone who is: · analytical, structured, and thorough with good prioritization skills, · responsible and independent, while collaborating well with others, · communicative and confident in dialogue with suppliers and internal partners, · solution-oriented and humble, · confident in making decisions in a changing environment. It is a merit if you have: · experience from regulated operations, such as medical technology or the public sector, · experience working with complex article structures or a large assortment, · experience with improvement work in inventory optimization and service levels. Terms The position is a permanent full-time employment, where a probationary period may be applied. You will be employed by MediCarrier. Working hours are 39.5 hours per week, and MediCarrier has a collective agreement. Your workplace is at MediCarrier's office in Spånga with the possibility of remote work based on operational needs.
