About the position Pediatric Surgery in Solna is part of the Medical Unit for Children – Perioperative Medicine and Intensive Care (Barn-PMI). Here, highly specialized pediatric surgery is conducted in areas such as pediatric surgery, orthopedics, neonatal surgery, tumor surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and advanced congenital surgery. We are a 24/7 operation with both planned and acute surgeries and work in close collaboration with BUVA, BIVA, and NEO. Barn-PMI is also responsible for transporting critically ill children and care within BIVA and ECMO. As an operating room nurse, there is an opportunity to also join the ECMO transport team.
